A strong tourism economy means a thriving local economy

Natrona County is a special place. We live here because our quality of life is second to none, we enjoy unparalleled access to extraordinary outdoor recreation, our roots run deep in rich, Western history and we’ve all seen firsthand the inspiring renaissance in Casper’s historic downtown area. While we know we’re lucky to live here, others are noticing just how special this place is. Our community was recently named a "Top 20 Mountain Town" by Men’s Journal and in addition to its coveted Blue-Ribbon status, the North Platte River earned a "Top 10 Spot" for Trophy Brown Trout designation from Field and Stream Magazine last year.
