Missoula ad agency owner Wes Spiker apologizes for ‘body fat’ ski area flyer; pizza firm also says its ad blew it

The print ad reads "Dear extra body fat, you have two options: Make your way into my boobs or get the F-out."

Spiker said he wrote the headline and personally approved the design.

Spiker Communications https://www.spikercomm.com/ , which has been hired for Snowbowl for many years to create ads, hung flyers in six locations around town.

The words Fat, Boobs and F-out were all in much larger, bold print. On Friday, people on Facebook began sharing images of the flyer. One person commented "Wtf? Do better Snowbowl."

On Friday afternoon, managers at Snowbowl posted on the ski area’s Facebook page that they wanted to "apologize for an ad that was recently created on (Snowbowl’s) behalf."
