Ed Harris gets $300K grant to film adaptation of Montana novel

Ed Harris’ plan to direct an adaptation Missoula author Kim Zupan’s novel, "The Ploughmen" took a step forward on Friday.

The production received $300,000, according to a news release from Gov. Steve Bullock’s office.

Harris, who was spotted scouting locations in Montana earlier this year, plans to film in Fort Benton and Great Falls.
