Minneapolis Federal Reserve president talks interest rates, wages at Montana State University

Minneapolis Federal Reserve President Neel Kashkari didn’t pull any punches at Montana State University on Wednesday, discussing everything from trade wars to interest rates and Bozeman’s housing shortage.

Kashkari held the town hall at MSU as part of his outreach visit to Bozeman, after touring Belgrade’s Ascension Technologies and a meeting with Montana high-tech industry leaders. He visits every state in his district each year, which includes Montana, Minnesota, the Dakotas and parts of Wisconsin and Michigan.
