Bozeman schools make progress in STEM goals, struggle with early reading
July 19, 2018 /
Bozeman’s public schools are having success in expanding STEM lessons for elementary kids and in creating more career opportunities for high school students, but are struggling to raise critical reading skills for the youngest students.
Superintendent Rob Watson gave a progress report this week to School Board trustees on how well the schools did last year in reaching several goals in the Bozeman district’s long range strategic plan.
He and the trustees plan to talk about goals for the coming school year during their retreat Aug. 9.
