SBA Increases Opportunities for Women Entrepreneurs with New Women’s Business Center Opening in Fargo, North Dakota

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has opened a new second Women’s Business Center (WBC) in North Dakota. The new center, hosted by Center for Technology & Business, will have the mission of helping women entrepreneurs start and grow small businesses. The new center will provide assistance and resources to entrepreneurs in the eastern half of the state.

"This year marks 30 years of the Women’s Business Center program, and the funding of this new center will expand access to resources to help women-owned businesses succeed," SBA North Dakota District Director Alan Haut said. "The work these centers provide is one of the most valuable forms of assistance to help women entrepreneurs, who are an engine for economic growth."
