With 10 percent of state’s Alzheimer patients in Billings, group hopes to make the city dementia friendly

n Montana, 20,000 people live with the devastating effects of Alzheimer’s disease, and 10 percent of them reside in Billings, according to the Alzheimer’s Association.
By 2030, Montana is predicted to have the highest population of elders in the United States. That’s why recently formed Dementia Friendly Billings https://www.facebook.com/DementiaFriendlyBillings/ wants to make Billings a sympathetic city for people who have dementia, their families and caregivers.
