Groups working to protect greater Yellowstone area see collaboration as solution to recreation crowds

Darcie Warden is a self-admitted collaboration junkie.

That’s in part because the Montana conservation coordinator for the Greater Yellowstone Coalition once read that, "We are smarter together than we are alone." The potential for creative solutions grows when they are formed collaboratively, she said of working with groups like the Bozeman-based Gallatin Forest Partnership. But forming coalitions is never easy or painless.
