Great Falls Small Business Development Center Regional Director Wins National Award for Excellence

Jason Nitschke, regional director of the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) in Great Falls, has been named the 2018 Montana "State Star," a national award recognizing outstanding performers from America’s Small Business Development Centers (ASBDC).

Criteria to win the award include exemplary performance, significant contributions to the program and a strong commitment to small business.

"Jason takes our program to the next level by going above and beyond for his clients every day," said SBDC State Director Chad Moore. "Montana entrepreneurs not only benefit, but thrive, through his consulting."

Nitschke’s office at host organization Great Falls Development Authority provides customized one-on-one consulting and training to start-up and existing businesses in a nine-county region, including Cascade, Fergus, Glacier, Judith Basin, Pondera, Teton, and Toole counties.

"Jason continues to develop new skills, tools and trainings to set the stage for even greater future results," said Great Falls Montana Development Authority President & CEO Brett Doney.
