Owners’ friendship built Choteau’s Aspire Award Winning Dropstone Outfitters

Yve Bardwell and Maggie Carr both had the experience. They both had the desire. It seems they were destined to start a business together.

But six years ago, they didn’t really know each other.

Although living in a small town such as Choteau almost guarantees you at least know everyone’s name, the winners of the 2018 Fire Within Aspire Award weren’t friends when they took over Dropstone Outfitters https://dropstoneoutfitting.com/ .

Sponsored by the Great Falls Development Authority http://www.gfdevelopment.org/ and Embark Credit Union, the Aspire Award goes each year to a woman operating a new business in northcentral Montana.

Exceptional hiking adventures in Montana’s Bob Marshall Wilderness.
