Here is our Top 16 for this week, celebrating work and successes to grow and strengthen the Great Falls regional economy.

1) With well-over 85,000 people from around the world gathering in Anaheim, California for the Natural Products Expo West trade show, two Montana farmers featured prominently in their partnership with Annies Homegrown, a brand of General Mills. Casey Bailey of Fort Benton, and Nate Palm-Powell of Bozeman are contracting farm sales to the company and are being featured on packaging as part of a dynamic effort to highlight regenerative farm practices. In addition to visiting with these neighbors from home, Jolene and Eric pitched the farm products and agricultural processing opportunities of our region to hundreds of companies at the cutting-edge of the food industry.

2) We closed a $40,472 loan to The Good Wood Guys this week! We are excited to work with these local entrepreneurs because we recognize how much wonderful, unique businesses like these can contribute to the diversity and vibrancy of our city. If you are in the market for hardwood slabs or beautiful, custom tables, doors, bars or pretty much anything else wood-related you can imagine, please stop by and visit Chris and Susan Crocker at their shop at 816 20th Street North here in Great Falls.
