More than 130 people packed into a Fergus County Courtroom Wednesday to give opinions on a bill that would remove five wilderness study areas (WSA) totaling 449,550 acres in Montana from future wilderness consideration, with the meeting showing a deep divide over how to best manage these public lands.
Passionate pleas were offered for and against the controversial legislation.
