Bozeman must plan for thousands of new residents
February 18, 2018 /
Even if Gallatin’s growth rate were to level out, the county could receive another 55,000 people by 2045.
Half of those arrivals are expected to land in Bozeman. City leaders say locals need to start talking about how Bozeman should prepare for that.
The numbers are part of a new report released by the city this month, pulled together by Economic & Planning Systems, Inc., with help from local engineering firm Sanderson Stewart. The assessment is a basis for a conversation around Bozeman’s growth policy, which will go through a revamp over the next year or so.
