Welcome to the new Missoula Gov Blog!

It was time to change up the old technology and move to a more traditional blog format https://www.missoulagov.org/ . Thank you so much to the current City Council members for continuing to post updates. Also thanks to my wife Beth and the rest of the team here at Cedar Mountain Software for setting up the site. This new set up will be much more flexible, so if anyone has suggestions for improvements feel free to send them my way.

With the new system, council members will make the main post and community members will be able to comment on those posts. We will also provide a way for you to submit a question you would like the council members to address. All comments to the site will require the use of your real name.

You can also sign up to receive the main posts via email. These will be sent whenever a post is made but will only include the primary posts, not the comments.

I’m hopeful this site https://www.missoulagov.org/ will continue to be a valuable service for Missoulians who wish to stay informed about and contribute to city government.
