Montana Department of Commerce Announces Grants for 28 Native American Businesses

Montana Department of Commerce Director Pam Haxby-Cote Tuesday announced $318,000 in funding will be awarded through the Indian Equity Fund (IEF) Small Business Grant to support the growth of 28 Native American-owned businesses across Montana.

"The businesses receiving these grants represent a cross-section of the increasingly diverse industries driving our reservations and native communities," Haxby-Cote said. "By supporting Montana’s Native American entrepreneurs, the Indian Equity Fund grows prosperity for Indian Country and an even stronger economy for all Montanans."
