Developer sues county after commissioners deny Big Sky workforce housing project

Developers are asking a Gallatin County judge to approve a proposed Big Sky workforce housing project that county commissioners denied last month due to concerns over traffic.

In a suit filed in Gallatin County District Court on Wednesday, developers argue that the commission’s denial of the 14-acre Powder Light subdivision was illegal and that the project should be approved. They are also asking to be awarded possible monetary damages.
