Montana GOP attempts to call its OWN special legislative session
November 10, 2017 /
Political in-fighting is already taking place in advance of next weeks special legislative session.
Governor Steve Bullock called the state’s first special session in 10 years to address a $227 million state budget shortfall.
Now the republican party is attempting to call a different session that would allow them to discuss more topics. A spokeswoman for the GOP said the governor’s call does not allow them to discuss cuts.
Republicans will have to get 76 lawmaker signatures to expand the session topics.
