New nonprofit seeks to advance Wyoming cybersecurity

Made Safe http://www.madesafeinwyoming.org in Wyoming, a new nonprofit based in Laramie, is working to protect personal information from credit cards and Social Security numbers and make sure they are not stolen from Wyoming businesses and organizations.

While many business owners intend to keep customers’ information safe, they may install personal versions of protection software, install it improperly and not see security holes. This can put information at risk.
