Bozeman’s next top administrator will be a North Carolinian with a resume outlining 26 years of city work and planning within communities experiencing growth.
During a regular meeting Monday night, commissioners said Andrea Surratt is ready to deal with Bozeman’s swelling population and the planning stresses that come with more people. The commission agreed to hire Surratt with a unanimous vote.
"I think we picked the best candidate of all 82," Mayor Carson Taylor said, referencing the six-month national search to fill the position.
