New York City is now offering free lunch at all public schools

Good riddance "lunch shaming" — the practice of holding children accountable for school lunch bills. The move has been long sought after by food policy advocates, as 75 percent of the student body qualifies for free or reduced lunches. Now an additional 200,000 kids will benefit, saving their families approximately $300 per year.
