Sperry Chalet served its guests until its bitter end.

For 104 years, the chalet has been a beacon of hope for travelers cresting mountains to reach it. It has been a refuge of safety and comfort after a long day navigating Glacier National Park’s backcountry.

For the last visitors to ever stay at the chalet, it was a symbol of life and of all the complexities that accompany it.
