Economic diversity committee releases first report, but real challenge is yet to come

A committee working to diversify Wyoming’s economy last week released its first report, detailing what many already knew: the Cowboy State faces a steep road in any effort to move away from economic dependence on the energy industry.
The ENDOW Council, created by Gov. Matt Mead last year, was required to submit a preliminary report to the Legislature by the end of August.
