Montana Career Opportunity – Office Manager – MBAC

MBAC is looking for a dynamic, self-starting professional to be the Office Manager working to keep finances current and analyzed throughout the MBAC/Gateway Region: Lewis and Clark, Broadwater, and Meagher Counties. This position will be exposed to the many state and federal programs and government entities. We are a non-profit organization with an office staff of 5.

Full compensation package that includes, 3% match to 401(k), paid health and life insurance coverage for employee, and a salary range of $42,000 to $45,000 to start, depending on experience. This is an exempt position. Potential funding of advanced educational goals.

Knowledge, skills and experience: Required: B. A. degree in accounting or related field and/or experience in such fields. The candidate must have excellent writing and communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and be a self-starter. This vibrant position will require coordinating with MBAC/GEDD staff, Board members, banks, borrowers, and vendors. This position requires a self-motivated individual with loads of self-determination, but the ability to listen and be very detail oriented. Over 300 payments are processed a month and handling of 20 bank accounts. Non-profit accounting preferred. A candidate must be skilled in Microsoft Office products with proficiency in Excel specifically. Quick Books experience preferred. Valid driver’s license a requirement.
