New Micron CEO sees a bright future for the Boise-based company

Sanjay Mehrota, the new president and CEO at Micron Technology, Inc. https://www.micron.com/ , introduced himself to Boise July 27 with a story from his days as a student in India.

Mehrota had been admitted to the University of California, Berkeley, but he’d been turned down for a student visa three times by the U.S. Embassy in Delhi. His exasperated father decided to accost the U.S. consul as he returned from lunch.
