Montana STEM Summit, 8/8, Bozeman, Montana

July 28, 2017View for printing

Dear Colleague: Given our complex and changing world, Montana needs today's youth to be critical thinkers who can tackle modern challenges. Expanding learning in science, technology, engineering and math--STEM--builds the knowledge and skills necessary for more Montana youth to be college and career ready.

Thank you for your work in the STEM fields in Montana! We are pleased to invite you to attend a one-day STEM Summit on August 8, 2017 convened by the Montana Afterschool Alliance (MTAA) and Montana State University (MSU). This free STEM Summit will bring together a wide range of STEM partners including K-12, higher education, business, policy makers, the informal science community, funders, and afterschool providers to define and discuss priorities and opportunities for increased STEM learning in Montana.

Your experience and expertise matters and we want to hear from you! We are extending an invitation to you to attend the STEM Summit. You can register at this link ... 35191286084 with the registration password STEMSummit. For additional questions regarding the STEM Summit, please email

We hope that you will join us at the Summit to help identify programs, priorities, and opportunities for Montana to build a strong STEM eco-system across Big Sky country.

Look forward to seeing you on August 8th at MSU.

Jan Lombardi MTAA Liaison JML Strategy
