All those amazing fly fishing scenes in "A River Runs Through It?"
The truth is, the actors who landed trout in the film didn’t really "catch" the fish, and they couldn’t cast very well.
The film was almost made by a couple of Montana-based writers, who would have filmed it on the Blackfoot River, before Robert Redford decided he wanted to make it.
