One girl’s simple love of Papa John’s pizza gets her into Yale

College essays may seem super daunting, but for this young woman, having some fun with it totally payed off.

Caroline Williams of Brentwood, Tennessee, found out in March that she was accepted into Yale University. This alone would be amazing news for just about anyone, but what made it even more amazing was when Caroline found out exactly why she was accepted.

Weeks later, the university’s admissions team sent Caroline notes detailing how much they enjoyed her unique and relatable essay on her love of ordering Papa John’s pizza.
