90 foot iconic Montana Bitterroot Mural painting hoping to find a new home.

At 90 feet, it’s Montana’s longest oil painting, completed in 1955 by Great Falls artist Les Peters for the Florence Hotel’s Bitterroot Room. The painting has graced the walls of the Missoula airport terminal since 1988, or did so until a couple of weeks ago.

In the next weeks and months Dan Tabish https://www.facebook.com/dan.j.tabish?ref=br_rs 406-549-7939 plans to have the Peters painting cleaned and restored, just as he did in 1975 and 1986; to find a new owner, as he did in 1988; and, he feverishly hopes, to see the Bitterroot Mural hanging somewhere in Missoula for all the world to see, as it has for more than 60 years.
