This month we have another series for our Map of the Month. This special edition will look at mortality rates of smokers as well as the percentage of smokers per county. Please see below and be sure to check out the interactive version of the maps to get the full impact. In this month’s Our Region at a Glance we look at the most recent performance results of the California Physical Fitness Test and the percent of 9th graders that need improvement in body composition.

In the upcoming month the CED will be hosting eight workshops in the counties of Tehama, Butte, Glenn, Nevada, Shasta, and Plumas. For food and beverage manufacturers, these workshops could be of great use to you. In addition, next week there will be a free workshop on dealing with consequences of disruptions to your business. Please read below for more information on these upcoming events.
