Drummond High wins Montana F1 championship

The F1 in Schools STEM Challenge was held at Highlands College over the weekend, and a western Montana high school came out on top. This victory means a bigger trip is in the works.

"The way it’s designed, like aerodynamics and down force."

That’s how Drummonds F1 Racing team Design Engineer Tanner Piippo describes what makes this car go fast. Don’t blink or you’ll miss it. That’s a little over one second to travel over 60 feet.

He says it wasn’t easy pulling it all together.
