Bozeman High student Matt Carley wins entrepreneurship award

Matt Carley is still in high school, but he’s already starting his second business, calling it "The New Rich."

"It’s a very controversial name," Carley said with a smile. That’s why he picked it.

The first business started by the 18-year-old Bozeman High School senior won a statewide award this winter, the One Montana Teenpreneur Challenge award.

Carley started his first business, Elevate Vault, as a freshman. He said he combined his interests in fashion, graphic design and skiing and came up with the "Elevate" logo. He had it printed on cotton shirts, hoodies, hats and the like.
