Great Falls Development Authority seeks levy for economic development
January 28, 2017 /
The Great Falls Development Authority board is recommending that Cascade County commissioners place a three-mill economic development levy before county voters this spring during a special election to generate $450,000 a year that can be used to create more jobs.
GFDA President Brett Doney told the Tribune on Friday the timing is great because Montanans already are expected to have a special election to replace U.S. Rep. Ryan Zinke, who could be confirmed as U.S. Interior Department secretary as early as Tuesday.
