University of Wyoming offers 3 new scholarships to attract transfer students

If you’re a non-Wyomingite attending community college here or in a nearby state, the University of Wyoming http://www.uwyo.edu/ wants you — and is willing to pay to bring you to Laramie.

Three new scholarships offer varying amounts of money to entice community college students to finish their education at UW. The requirements for all three scholarships are an associate’s degree and at least a 3.4 grade point average. The university plans to "go really full-speed ahead with (the scholarships) in the fall," said Mary Aguayo, a UW enrollment and policy strategist.
