Grant to help laid off Weyerhaeuser lumber mill workers

The U.S. Department of Labor approved a National Dislocated Worker Grant award to help Columbia Falls workers affected by Weyerhaeuser lumber mill closing in August.

The $225,000 grant will go to the Montana Department of Labor and Industry Workforce Services Division to provide reemployment services to Weyerhaeuser workers and will serve approximately 50 former employees.
