Great Falls Public Schools Foundation receives $1 million gift

Students and friends of the late Dr. Charles and Judy Astrin gathered in the C.M. Russell High School boardroom Thursday morning to announce the acceptance of a $1 million gift from the Astrins’ estate for the Great Falls Public Schools Foundation.

"We’re thankful that he chose the Great Falls Public Schools Foundation," said Dave Crum, the foundation’s executive director. "This says to me that the teachers and administration are doing a great job and must have done a great job for (their daughter) Jennifer."
