Idaho Career Opportunity – Executive Director of Economic Development – University of Idaho

Reporting to the Vice President for Research and Economic Development (ORED) and located in Boise, ID, the Executive Director for Economic Development (EDED) leads and coordinates the university’s state-wide economic development activities through proactive engagement with regional business, communities and economic development organizations.

The EDED – working with the three university center directors, located in Boise, Coeur d’Alene, and Idaho Falls, as well as extension leadership throughout the state – will capitalize on UI’s world-class research capabilities and capacities to provide a conduit for resources and opportunities between the regions communities and business and UI faculty, staff & students, leading to increased research opportunities for UI and greater prosperity for the state and region.
