When big kids help little ones, everyone’s life can change

They unofficially call it the Senior Buddy program.

Officially, it’s changing lives.

Everyone wants to be a rock star.

Victor kindergarten teacher Sue Lane thinks she’s found a way to make that happen for the district’s upperclassmen.

Once a month, Lane and Victor High School teacher Bonnie Taylor set aside a class period to bring together the district’s youngest students with its oldest.

And then they step back and let the magic happen.
