This month’s interactive Map of the Month, in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, shows the age-adjusted Breast Cancer mortality rate by county. And in this month’s "Our Region at a Glance," we look at the most recent voter registration data by county, broken down by party affiliation as well as by percentage of eligible citizens who registered to vote.

We also highlight three upcoming events that we believe will be very beneficial to attend. Action News Now is hosting a free Digital Media Workshop , in which they will be raffling off $2,500 worth of customized TV and digital advertising! In addition, keep an eye out for the Central Valley Venture Forum which will be coming up in November. Finally, if you or anyone you know is thinking of starting a business, check out the free How To Start Your Business workshop.
