Solar Roadways to go live as the world watches

In 2006, it was just an idea from a Sandpoint, Idaho man and his wife. A decade later, solar panels made by Solar Roadways http://www.solarroadways.com/ that replace the traditional roadway are about to become a reality — and could eventually change the world.

"We’ve got a little over 28,000 square miles of paved surfaces in the lower 48 states," he said. "If we covered all those surfaces we’d produce three times more energy than we use."
