"Wilderness is Important to Everyone" Smoke Elser – The Blackfoot Clearwater Stewardship Project Needs to Be Approved Now!

For the past decade, Montanans have worked together to hash out a lasting solution for our public lands in the Blackfoot-Clearwater valley through the The Blackfoot Clearwater Stewardship Project http://blackfootclearwater.org/

It’s a project that ensures public lands access, timber production, and protection of our headwaters. It’s a project that requires the help of our Montana Senators and Representative to get it done.

But ten years is a long time to wait and enough is enough. Our local coalition of snowmobilers, loggers, hunters, and conservationists will release one video every month on this website until the Montana delegation announces a plan to finish what we started. The videos will feature the stories of families, businesses, ranchers, and locals who built our proposal from the bottom-up.
