40th Anniversary for The National Center for Appropriate Technology in Butte, Montana

The National Center for Appropriate Technology https://www.ncat.org/ celebrated their 40th anniversary this morning. The celebration was opened to the public and included workshops, crafts for kids, speakers, tours and a petting zoo.

and sustainable solutions that reduce poverty, promote
healthy communities, and protect natural resources.

Apart of the celebration, they were dedicating a 45KW solar array which cost $158,000 to install. The solar array has two 132-foot rows of panels that are about 10 feet long and a couple of feet off the ground. The solar arrays will rely on the sun for producing energy.

Also, Montana Governor Steve Bullock showed his support at the anniversary party taking part in a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
