In 2015, July saw a record 2.2 million non-resident visitors for Montana businesses. For perspective, Montana attracted 11.7 million visitors over the entire year. Data and graphs made available by the Institute for Tourism & Recreation Research (ITRR).

The graph below shows the breakout of non-resident visitation to Montana by month. Peak visitation is reached in July.
