Columbus, Ohio Wins $50 Million ‘Smart Cities Challenge’ Grant

The U.S. Department of Transportation has revealed the winner of a hotly-contested and widely-reported competitive grant funding opportunity.

"The city will receive $50 million in grant funding from the federal government and Vulcan Inc. to develop the city into a test track for intelligent transportation systems.
