School leaders share ideas at Graduation Matters Montana summit

Graduation rates in many cities across Montana are up. The Graduation Matters Montana initiative is getting credit for the increase.

School leaders from different communities discussed what’s working with the program at an annual summit in Bozeman.

The program aims to help better prepare students for life after high school. When it was first started the statewide graduation rate was 80 percent. It’s now up to 86 percent.

The summit allows students as well as school staff to share ideas.
