Father’s fishing hobby becomes son’s occupation in Missoula – Missoulian Angler

When a son turns his father’s favorite pastime into a career, that dad knows he’s made a mark.

Todd Scott recalled putting his son Taylor, a toddler, to sleep on a pile of life jackets at the bottom of the raft on fishing trips. When Taylor was old enough to fish for perch at Lake Mary Ronan, his mother, Sheri, had to bring sandwiches out to the dock because he wouldn’t come in to eat. His birthday is June 25 – the middle of the salmonfly hatch – and he can’t recall a birthday party not spent on a river.
