Governor Steve Bullock meets with Colstrip leaders about its energy future

The future of Montana’s largest coal-fired power plant remains uncertain, but Gov. Steve Bullock told members of the Colstrip community Tuesday that he’s doing what he can.

No answers emerged from the Democratic governor’s hour-long meeting with community leaders here. Bullock said the power plant’s fate, particularly the fate of its two oldest units, was mostly up to its owners and their customers.
