Fed To Host Forum On Rural Housing, Development, 5/10

The Federal Reserve will host a policy forum https://www.federalreserve.gov/newsevents/conferences/ruralconf.htm next Tuesday, May 10, in Washington, D.C., to explore the changing demographic and economic trends affecting housing and community development in rural areas.

Speakers from the Fed, U.S. Department of Agriculture and housing organizations will discuss the effects of various policies and practices on rural economic vitality and the availability of homes and financing to rural consumers.

The conference will begin at 8:30 a.m. EDT and will be live-streamed on the Fed’s website.
