April 8, 2016 /
This is one of five utility-scale solar facilities Cypress Creek has under contract with NorthWestern Energy in Montana, said Butch Larcombe, a company spokesman.
Lewis and Clark County commissioners agreed to a tax break for a company planning a solar energy facility west of Green Meadow Drive near Silver Creek.
During the nine years of the tax break for Green Meadow Solar LLC, a subsidiary owned by Cypress Creek Renewables of Santa Monica, California, it will see its property taxes reduced by $142,437, according to data accompanying a staff report to the county commission.
