Montana Career Opportunity – Program Coordinator – Society for Wilderness Stewardship

The Program Coordinator will work closely with the Executive Director to field and grow programs at SWS. She/he will be the primary manager of the new Wilderness Fellows Program, a program that is a partnership between SWS, the Aldo Leopold Wilderness Research Institute, and the US Forest Service. The Program Coordinator will also manage SWS membership – both the retention of current members, and the strategic recruitment of new members. Lastly, this position will help to develop and coordinate events that further the discussion around professionalism in wilderness management and deepen SWS culture across the nation. This position is dynamic, and may take on additional duties as it develops.
