Help Wanted: New Positions at City of Boise Total More Than $500,000

Several City of Boise departments report current budgets should be sufficient to cover the expense of six new, high-profile positions http://www.cityofboise.org/ the city hopes to add to its payroll.

According to City of Boise documents, the new positions are immediately necessary to be "responsive to operational needs" but "do not require additional spending authority" or additional funds added to the current Fiscal Year 2016 budget.

Mayor’s Office
Position: Strategic Innovation and Performance Director to serve as "an internal consultant to City leadership on innovation, continuous improvement, strategic planning, data analysis and project management"
Salary: $134,000 (including benefits)
